About Us
AWOL consists essentially of two blokes in their forties going through a variety of mid-life crises. Young children at various stages of the great education adventure keep us grounded and focused on the truly important things in life; long-suffering wives remind us occasionally that we are not entirely bad but still have much scope for personal development; and nice cars still seem like something vaguely worth aspiring to, even though that makes us a bit shallow.
Our professional purpose, however, is promoting the good word about great wine from Argentina and, well, trying to sell as much of it as we possibly can. We do hope that you will help us in this good cause and maybe buy a mixed case or two. If not, we nonetheless hope you enjoy browsing through our website, and that you will remember Argentina the next time you find yourself trying to choose a bottle of wine in a shop somewhere.
